Politician’s fingerprint ‘cloned from photos’

Despite fingerprint security being used on the latest Apple and Samsung phones, one hacker managed to clone a German politician’s fingerprint by using photos taken with a standard camera. He had no physical print from the politician.

According to experts, biometric security (for instance, facial recognition or fingerprint recognition) is insecure and is no replacements for secure passwords and encryption software.
